Location: Austin, Texas

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with 1 weekend per month and compensatory days during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop discharge recommendations
Deliver targeted treatments to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals
Collaborate with a dynamic team of therapists across multiple hospital units
Provide exceptional care to patients in trauma, cardiac, oncology, and critical care settings

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license
1 year of acute care experience required
Strong clinical skills in evaluation and treatment planning
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy expertise
Trauma-informed treatment approaches
Vestibular rehabilitation knowledge
Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
