Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
Assist with high-risk OB procedures including C-sections, SVD, D&C, D&E, and twin deliveries
Support massive transfusion protocols and manage placenta accrete spectrum disorders
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, positive birth experiences
Monitor patients using Alaris and CADD pumps while documenting in CPN and Meditech
Respond quickly and confidently to emergent situations on the unit

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Current CST certification
At least 2 years of experience in High Risk OB
Current certification in Advanced EFM / AWHONN Intermediate EFM
Preferred: experience with massive transfusion and placenta accrete spectrum disorders

Knowledge & Skills

High Risk OB including massive transfusion protocols
Placenta accrete spectrum disorders (PASD)
C-sections, SVD, D&C, D&E, and twin deliveries
Alaris Pumps and CADD epidural pumps
CPN and Meditech documentation systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
