Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings
• Monitor and assess patients, recognizing changes and responding promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility protocol
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and discharge plans
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Previous medical-surgical, telemetry, or MST experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to different unit environments
• Compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient care
