Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to assigned patients throughout the night shift
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and promptly report changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered while maintaining accurate documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and support staff to build effective care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and next steps
• Keep a safe, clean, and organized care environment while following facility protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Prior med-surg, telemetry, or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and thrive on a night shift schedule
• Excellent communication and a genuine passion for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring abilities
• Medication administration and dosage calculation know-how
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation experience
• Clear, kind communication with patients, families, and teammates
• Time management skills for a busy night shift
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
