Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours total, includes every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate exceptional patient care for adult and occasional pediatric patients on a dynamic Med/Surg unit
Lead a talented team of professionals to meet the unique needs of a diverse patient population
Apply the innovative Nursing Process to make critical, compassionate decisions
Deliver holistic care that addresses age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
Collaborate closely with the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor

Qualifications

Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure required
BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required prior to start
Minimum 3 years of acute care experience
Meditech experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for adult and occasional pediatric patients
Ability to coordinate comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care
Comfort working in a 25-bed critical access hospital setting
Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records a plus
