Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, flexible scheduling (per diem, schedule varies)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on the Med/Surg unit
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans tailored to each child's needs
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor vital signs and patient status, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- BLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- Experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in Med/Surg
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of pediatric growth and development
- Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
