Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients in a Med/Surg setting
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care plans for children with medical and surgical conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient vital signs and promptly recognize and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
• Advocate for the unique needs of pediatric patients and their families

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio or a compact state required
• BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred
• Previous Med/Surg or Pediatrics experience strongly preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable - ready to jump in where needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
