Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence and skill
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring safety and comfort
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support patient outcomes
Collaborate with a 24/7 in-house OB team and anesthesia providers for seamless care
Float within the Birthing Center to support mother-baby and postpartum needs as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Preferred: Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable working independently in labor, delivery, and circulating C-sections

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP clinical skills including high-risk pregnancies and C-section circulation
Proficient with Centricity Perinatal and EPIC documentation systems
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently
Experience with Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin titration
Excellent communication and adaptability to unit workflows and feedback
