Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Saturday-Sunday days, Friday-Saturday nights)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence and skill
Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, healthy starts
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support optimal patient outcomes
Function seamlessly across the entire Birthing Center, including postpartum and mother-baby care
Collaborate with 24/7 in-house OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Anesthesia providers for exceptional care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience required
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
Previous travel experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing expertise with ability to handle high-risk pregnancies
Strong assessment skills for preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use cases
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently
Experience with Centricity perinatal EFM system
Comfort working with 33 weeks and above gestational age patients
Adaptable to unit workflows and open to constructive feedback
