Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring safety and comfort
Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips to support optimal patient outcomes
Collaborate with in-house OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Anesthesia providers 24/7
Float within the Birthing Center to support mother-baby and postpartum needs
Read fetal monitoring strips and respond promptly to changes in patient status

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
No first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP experience caring for patients 33 weeks and above
High-risk OB knowledge including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance-use support
Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
Ability to transition newborns and assist with low-risk deliveries
Team-oriented with excellent communication and adaptability
