Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every third weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages
Monitor patients on common drips including Pitocin, Insulin, fluids, and Antibiotics
Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
Support antepartum, triage, labor, postpartum, and newborn care with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Maintain compliance with facility policies including the no artificial nails requirement for patient care areas

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP experience
Must pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Comfortable caring for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and newborn patients
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to float and task in MedSurg when needed is a plus
