Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural community setting
Triage patients and serve as the primary baby catcher and transition nurse
Titrate Pitocin drips to support safe labor progression
Collaborate with on-call providers to ensure timely, high-quality care
Support postpartum recovery and newborn bonding in LDRP rooms

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience with LDRP training
Comfortable functioning independently in a small, rural unit

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP and triage skills
Pitocin titration experience
Ability to serve as both labor nurse and baby catcher
Flexible and resourceful in a low-volume setting
