Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural LDRP setting
Triage patients and serve as the baby catcher and transition nurse during deliveries
Monitor and titrate Pitocin drips to support safe labor progression
Collaborate with on-call providers to ensure timely responses during active labor
Support postpartum recovery and newborn care with a hands-on, patient-centered approach

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Current ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
Comfortable functioning independently in a small, rural hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP clinical skills including triage and newborn transition
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Experience with OBIX EFM system preferred
Flexible and adaptable to occasional floating to med-surg when needed
