Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced L&D unit
Circulate and assist in C-section procedures while ensuring patient safety
Float to mom-baby unit when needed to support seamless continuity of care
Monitor fetal strips and respond promptly to any changes in patient condition
Collaborate with in-house OB, neonatology, and anesthesia teams 24/7

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state
ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required
Recent L&D experience with willingness to float to mom-baby unit
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation
C-section circulation experience
Excellent communication and teamwork
Comfortable working with WatchChild monitoring system
