Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour AM/PM shifts, every other weekend or 1 weekend based on seniority, 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 4 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Circulate and scrub in the OR for cesarean sections when needed
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, LR, Fentanyl, and Labetalol
Respond quickly to obstetrical emergencies such as hypertension and hemorrhage
Collaborate with OB techs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe deliveries
Read and interpret fetal monitoring strips to support positive outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license (Oregon license not required at time of submittal - 90-day emergency license available)
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience circulating and/or scrubbing in the OR for cesarean sections
Comfortable titrating drips and managing obstetrical emergencies

Knowledge & Skills

Strong Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother Baby experience
Familiarity with GE Centricity EFM system
Ability to work in a closed unit with occasional emergency floating
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
