Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and both Routine and Intermediate Nursery settings
Independently manage all phases of patient care while serving as a reliable backup for your teammates
Titrate critical drips such as Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate to support safe deliveries
Monitor fetal strips and maternal cardiac rhythms using centralized systems to ensure the best outcomes
Float as a helping hand to other units when needed, showcasing your versatility and teamwork

Qualifications

Active Oregon nursing license or eligibility for the 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong experience in L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery
Ability to work independently with confidence and support colleagues equally

Knowledge & Skills

Confident with AWHONN staffing guidelines and ratios
Skilled in fetal monitoring and reading strips
Comfortable stabilizing and transferring ventilated neonates
Ready to adapt quickly between busy and quiet moments on the unit
