Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and babies
• Educate patients and families throughout the admission to discharge journey
• Document care thoroughly and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure the best outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Ensure equipment and supplies are ready for patient care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Ohio - must be currently active
• CPR/BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification is required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in labor and delivery
• Associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Education

• Associate degree in nursing
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

• Proficiency in the nursing process and patient care
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Interpersonal and communication excellence
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions
• Clinical documentation and medication administration expertise
