Location: Phoenix, Arizona

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 10-hour shifts with occasional Saturday coverage 1-2 times per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-operative and post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Monitor patients recovering from conscious sedation and general anesthesia with precision and compassion
Assist with a wide variety of body IR procedures including chemoembolization, Y-90 treatments, and vascular access
Collaborate with IR techs and physicians to deliver seamless patient experiences from admission through recovery
Document thoroughly in Cerner while ensuring every patient feels informed and cared for

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Level I trauma experience required
Pre-op, PACU, or ICU background with interventional radiology experience strongly preferred
Cerner EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment skills for both outpatient and critical care patients
Comfort managing vents and tele patients
Excellent communication with patients, families, and the care team
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced procedural environment
