Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult ICU patients with trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory conditions
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications while closely monitoring patient response
Interpret telemetry strips and document findings to guide real-time clinical decisions
Collaborate with nurse aides and respiratory therapists to deliver seamless, team-based care
Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed, maintaining the same commitment to patient safety and quality

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Cardiac, insulin, and sedation drip management
Ventilator, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen troubleshooting
Patient assessment and critical thinking under pressure
Clear communication with multidisciplinary teams
