Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing to adult patients in a 33-bed ICU with an average daily census of 16
Manage complex patient conditions including trauma, cardiac events, stroke, sepsis, and respiratory distress
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications with precision and safety
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while collaborating with tele tech oversight
Float to PCU or MedSurg units as needed while maintaining appropriate patient ratios
Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to deliver comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

ICU Nursing and Critical Care expertise
Patient Assessment and Telemetry Monitoring
Drip Titration and Ventilator Management
Cardiac, insulin, and sedation drip management
GE monitor systems and strip interpretation
