Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedule made 6 weeks in advance with flexibility required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional critical care across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate life-saving medications including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics with precision
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while providing hands-on ventilator and respiratory support
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patients at varying acuity levels from ICU to med-surg tele
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and respiratory therapists to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to new units while maintaining the highest standards of compassionate care

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
Epic experience preferred, especially for first-time travelers
Comfortable floating within a 60-mile radius and across multiple ICU types

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with critical care equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Skilled in reading and interpreting telemetry strips independently
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities for high-acuity patients
Flexible and positive attitude toward floating and schedule adjustments
