Location: Centennial, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate life-saving medications including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics with precision
Interpret telemetry strips and respond swiftly to cardiac changes
Collaborate with respiratory therapists to manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Float throughout the 60-mile zone to support facilities in need while delivering consistent, high-quality care
Mentor newer nurses and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
Epic experience strongly preferred
Comfortable with floating across ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry units

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making in high-acuity situations
Expertise in drip titration and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Ability to read and interpret telemetry independently
Flexibility to adapt to different facilities and patient populations
Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
