Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling with 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule, Nightshift weekends are Friday-Saturday, Dayshift weekends are Saturday-Sunday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to trauma, neuro, and cardiac ICU patients
Titrate critical drips including Propofol, Levophed, Vasopressin, and Insulin to maintain patient stability
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with intensivists and the care team to deliver evidence-based interventions
Float between Surgical, Medical Cardiac, and Overflow ICUs as needed to support the entire department

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience with at least 2 years in ICU
Experience with neuro or CVICU patient populations preferred
Ability to pass UNA Dysrhythmia Exam (max 2 attempts) and Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Drip titration and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Dysrhythmia interpretation and 12-lead ECG analysis
Ventilator management and respiratory equipment knowledge
Trauma, neuro-surgical, and post-cardiac surgery care
Devices such as CRRT, ECMO, IABP, and Impella
