Location: Turtle Lake, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and alternating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across ER, MedSurg, and Swing Bed units in a critical access hospital setting
Manage diverse patient populations including geriatric, dementia, stroke, and post-acute rehab patients
Administer titratable drips including electrolytes, hypertensive medications, IV antibiotics, and blood transfusions
Interpret telemetry strips and monitor patients with complex chronic conditions
Collaborate with CNAs and charge nurses using team nursing approach to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Respond to initial trauma care needs and support patients through COVID and wound management

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Comfortable working in rural critical access hospital environment

Dementia care expertise
Stroke and geriatric patient management
Skin and wound care proficiency
Titratable drip administration
Telemetry interpretation skills
