Location: Centennial, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate emergency care across multiple facilities within the Zone 1 float pool
Assess and treat a diverse patient population ranging from abdominal pain to stroke and trauma
Interpret telemetry and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Administer standard ER medications and perform point-of-care lab testing
Collaborate with techs, charge nurses, and physicians to ensure seamless patient flow
Float between Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More as needed

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ER/ED experience preferred
Ability to interpret telemetry independently
Willingness to float throughout the 60-mile Zone 1 radius

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ER assessment and critical thinking skills
Telemetry interpretation proficiency
Comfort working with varied patient volumes from 40 to 168 per day
Flexibility to adapt to different facility workflows and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
