Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule with every other weekend and holiday required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate emergency care across multiple facilities in the Denver Zone 3 area
Assess and treat a diverse patient population including abdominal pain, stroke, trauma, and cardiac cases
Administer standard ER medications and perform point-of-care lab testing
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to patient acuity changes
Collaborate with techs, unit secretaries, and the care team to ensure seamless patient flow
Float within the 60-mile zone to support facilities in need while maintaining high-quality care standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ER experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret telemetry independently
Willingness to float throughout the 60-mile Denver Zone 3

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for varied ER presentations
Comfort working in fast-paced environments with patient ratios of 1:4-5
Ability to adapt quickly to different facility workflows and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
