Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care during EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, and other GI procedures
Administer moderate sedation when anesthesia support is unavailable
Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth case flow
Float to PACU or ACU as needed to support patient care across units
Document accurately using Cerner-Surginet and maintain detailed patient records
Respond to emergency cases with confidence and clinical expertise

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy nursing experience
Moderate sedation experience required
Cerner-Surginet charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and sedation monitoring skills
Comfortable managing 3-5 cases per day plus emergencies
Ability to float between Endo/GI lab and PACU/ACU
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to varied shifts and on-call weekends
