Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient care during endoscopy and GI procedures
Administer moderate sedation when anesthesia is unavailable
Assist with EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, MRCPs, and biopsies
Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
Float to PACU/ACU as needed to support patient flow
Document accurately using Cerner-Surginet EMR
Respond to emergency cases with professionalism and care

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
At least 2 years of GI nursing experience
Moderate sedation experience preferred
Cerner charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Moderate sedation administration
Cerner-Surginet documentation
Endoscopy and GI lab procedures
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to float between departments
