Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 5x8's or 4x10's, to be discussed in interview. Weekly weeknight call plus weekend call, covering about 1-2 weeknights per week and every 3 weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating and teching support for advanced GI procedures including ERCP and EUS
Assist with specialized equipment setup for EMR, ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery cases
Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes following SGNA standards
Support physicians during tissue biopsies, stent placements, and endoscopic suturing procedures
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all endoscopic interventions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact license
Strong circulating and teching experience in endoscopy/GI lab settings
Familiarity with advanced procedures such as ERCP, EUS, and EMR/ESD
Ability to pass skills-based exam with 90% score during orientation
Commitment to maintaining strict fingernail policy standards

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced endoscopic equipment operation and troubleshooting
Scope reprocessing and high-level disinfection protocols
Patient care excellence in GI lab environments
EMR documentation and procedural support
