Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage patients presenting with emergent conditions and prioritize care based on acuity
• Provide rapid assessment, intervention, and stabilization for patients of all ages
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver coordinated emergency care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Maintain a calm, organized environment during high-pressure situations
• Advocate for patient safety and quality care at all times

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact state
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA preferred)
• PALS certification preferred
• Prior emergency department or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including weekends as needed
