Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location: Stockton, California

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts available, with weeknight call starting at 6:30 PM until 6:00 AM the next morning (minimum 2 nights per 4-week schedule) and weekend call every 2nd or 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $95 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and open heart procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to ensure smooth, safe surgical experiences
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
Monitor patients closely throughout procedures and respond swiftly to any changes
Float to the main OR when needed, showcasing your versatility and expertise

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
CNOR certification preferred
Cerner experience required
No first-time travelers
Previous CVOR experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of cardiovascular operating room protocols and procedures
Ability to handle a high-volume caseload across multiple specialties
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with 23-25 cases daily
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
