Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 10-hour shifts with overnight call once a week and 3 weekend days per month as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in for complex cardiac procedures including CABG and valve surgeries
Monitor and interpret EKG strips throughout each case
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team in a fast-paced environment
Provide expert care for patients undergoing all types of heart surgeries
Maintain composure and confidence during high-volume surgical days

Qualifications

Active RN license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience with strong scrubbing skills
Ability to read and interpret EKG strips
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CVOR procedures and sterile technique
Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records
Strong cardiac surgery knowledge including CABG and valve cases
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced operating room
Reliable and adaptable with call schedule requirements
