Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert circulating support during cardiovascular procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and Thoracotomy cases
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient care in the CVOR
- Respond to call within 30 minutes to support urgent cardiac cases
- Float within the OR to support various specialties as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner and Surginet systems
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong cardiovascular operating room experience preferred
- Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
Knowledge & Skills
- Cerner and Surginet EMR systems
- Cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Call response protocols
- Team collaboration in high-acuity settings
