Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to high-acuity cardiac surgery patients including CABG, TAVR, and lung transplant recoveries
Monitor and manage advanced life-support devices such as IABP, ECMO, and CRRT
Collaborate with intensivists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized patient plans
Float to other ICUs and Telemetry units as needed, adapting quickly to new environments
Perform bedside procedures including bronchoscopies, Swan-Ganz catheter placements, and epidurals
Maintain strict sterile technique during Foley catheter insertions and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of ICU experience with Level I Trauma experience preferred
CVICU experience strongly preferred
CCRN certification is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong IV skills and comfort managing multiple drips
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam on the first or second attempt
Competence in sterile field technique for Foley and central line procedures
Experience with Cerner EMR and Phillips telemetry monitoring
Willingness to float to multiple ICUs and Telemetry units
