Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health Unit
• Assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Experience in behavioral health or psych nursing preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to providing excellent patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and practices
• Proficiency in patient assessment and crisis intervention
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with EHR systems and documentation
• Understanding of de-escalation techniques and safety protocols
