Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Support resident mobility and transfer with proper technique and safety
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide companionship
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care provided accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
• Ability to work a flexible per diem schedule
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care procedures and safety standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent observational skills to detect changes in condition
• Time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills for electronic documentation
