Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents including assistance with daily living activities
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety
• Support residents with meals, hygiene, and personal care needs
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with the care team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and hygiene
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Skill in using medical equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and thermometers
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Teamwork and collaboration in a multidisciplinary setting
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic care environment
