Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents with dignity and respect
• Take and record vital signs accurately, alerting the care team to any changes
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Support residents with eating, hydration, and personal hygiene needs
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with nurses and families
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative care team

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of basic patient care principles and safety protocols
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and vital sign measurement
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in fast-paced situations
• Commitment to maintaining infection control and hygiene standards
