Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and document vital signs, and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their comfort and safety
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents and staff
• Engage with residents in a caring and respectful manner, supporting their emotional well-being
• Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver high-quality, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work a 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM shift
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but new graduates are welcome
• A genuine passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care practices and safety protocols
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
