Location: State College, Pennsylvania

Start Date: 05-26-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights: 2 shifts of 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM and 2 shifts of 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM per week, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct professional nursing care to patients in a psychiatric setting
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to support patient recovery
Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe and effective treatment

Qualifications

Active Pennsylvania RN license
Current BLS certification
CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification
Minimum one year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred

Education

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and care planning abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Professional and supportive approach to patient care
