Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Independently deliver a variety of radiation therapy treatments using advanced linear accelerators
Perform precise simulations and treatment planning to ensure accurate patient care
Fabricate specialized treatment aids tailored to each patient's needs
Collaborate with physicians to follow prescriptions and instructions with excellence
Assess patient status and provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan
Treat 25-30 patients daily across all treatment sites in a comprehensive cancer center

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T)
Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist experience
Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electron treatment modalities
Strong ability to assess and interpret patient data for individualized care
Comfortable working in a fast-paced comprehensive cancer center environment
Skilled in treating patients across all treatment sites
