Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams accurately and compassionately
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment with attention to safety and comfort
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and follow ALARA principles
• Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of imaging studies in PACS/EHR
• Participate in orientation and training to stay current with facility practices

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or equivalent radiologic technologist credential preferred
• State licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Missouri (per facility requirements)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtained promptly
• Previous radiologic technologist experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills welcome
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; certificate programs considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with radiographic equipment and standard imaging techniques
• Strong patient positioning skills and patient-centered communication
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Familiarity with PACS, DICOM workflows, and electronic health records
• Attention to detail, good documentation habits, and ability to multitask
• Comfort working independently on per-diem assignments and as a collaborative team member
