Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess residents to develop personalized therapy plans
Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions to improve mobility and function
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members
Document progress and adjust treatment plans to meet individual goals
Educate residents and families on safe movement techniques and home exercises

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree preferred
New graduates are welcome to apply
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in evaluating and treating geriatric patients
Knowledge of physical therapy techniques in skilled nursing settings
Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
Compassionate approach to patient-centered care
