Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Part-time, 4-hour shifts (exact days and start/end times to be scheduled with facility); orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans that restore function and improve quality of life
Provide skilled therapeutic interventions and manual therapy tailored to each patient
Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates with the care team
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies to maintain gains
Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Participate in orientation and training to align with facility protocols and standards

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist in California, or eligible to obtain licensure
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with documentation systems and basic clinical tech
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage patients and families
Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to patient-focused care
Background check and any required facility credentials completed prior to start

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, or Master's/Bachelor's in Physical Therapy
Completion of accredited PT program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional mobility interventions
Ability to assess musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions
Proficient charting and clinical documentation practices
Good clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Experience working in outpatient or specialty clinic settings is a plus
