Location: Spokane, Washington
Start Date: 08-13-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: As needed, flexible per diem shifts; 10.5-hour shift duration
Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy assessments and treatments to pediatric patients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to help children improve mobility, strength, and coordination
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and strategies for continued progress
- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Adapt treatment techniques to meet each child's unique developmental needs and comfort level
- Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to discharge planning
Qualifications
- Current Washington State physical therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred, but new graduates with pediatric clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
- Ability to build rapport with children and families in a compassionate manner
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy interventions and developmental milestones
- Proficiency in patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting
