Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments to ensure a smooth patient experience
• Assist the orthodontist during adjustments, bracket placement, and wire changes
• Take and develop dental radiographs and intraoral scans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Manage inventory of orthodontic supplies
• Welcome patients and make them feel comfortable throughout their visit

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Active Dental Assistant certification or registration in Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in orthodontic or dental assisting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
