Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands on care to residents in a long term care setting
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and changes in resident condition
• Help residents move safely with transfers, ambulation and repositioning
• Support the nursing team by reporting observations and documenting care accurately
• Create a warm, dignified environment that feels like home for every resident
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and family members to keep care plans on track

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license in Vermont, or the ability to obtain one
• Current BLS certification is a plus
• Prior long term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts and every other weekend
• A caring, patient first attitude and a genuine love for helping others
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
