Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care that helps residents feel safe and respected
• Assist residents with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and changes in condition
• Serve meals and support residents during mealtimes with patience and encouragement
• Answer call lights quickly and respond to resident needs with a warm smile
• Collaborate with nursing staff and report observations that keep care plans on track
• Keep patient areas clean, organized, and comfortable throughout your shift

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
• Must bring state or federal issued identification to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
• Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine, or provide a documented religious or medical exemption
• Strong communication skills and a genuine heart for helping others
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to jump in as part of the care team
