Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents throughout your shift
• Assist patients with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake and output, and changes in condition
• Keep residents safe by assisting with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team so nothing gets missed
• Bring comfort and dignity to every interaction, because small moments matter most
• Respond quickly and calmly to resident needs and call lights

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
• Current CNA license in good standing
• Previous CNA or long-term care experience is a plus, but new grads with solid training are welcome
• Completed original or updated COVID-19 vaccination, or a documented religious or medical exemption from your employer
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
• A genuine passion for caring for others and a dependable, team-first attitude

• Vital signs monitoring and accurate documentation
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Infection control and safety awareness
• Clear communication with residents, families, and the care team
• Time management and the ability to stay calm under pressure
