Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care that helps residents feel safe and respected
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and changes in resident condition
• Respond quickly and calmly to resident needs, call lights, and requests for help
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to keep every resident comfortable and well cared for
• Document care accurately so the next shift starts with a clear picture

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification is a plus
• Comfortable working overnight NOC shifts in a long-term care setting
• Completed original or updated COVID-19 vaccination, or a documented religious and/or medical exemption from your employer
• Willing to bring a state or federal issued ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
• A team player with a warm heart and a strong work ethic

• Resident care and activities of daily living support
• Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observation
• Accurate and timely documentation
• Patient safety, infection control, and fall prevention
• Clear communication with residents, families, and the care team
• Patience, empathy, and dependability on overnight shifts
